The presentation of my books at Amazon.com has long left much to be desired. In many cases readers' reviews grossly misrepresent either my analysis or the factual background behind that analysis. Links between the different books are not in place or lead to deadends. Sometimes my name is mispelled or the titles are misstated, thus frustrating searches based on accurate information. Perhaps most perplexingly of all, as of 2008 some Amazon customers searching for the newly published In the Jaws of the Dragon reached a page that stated that the book was "currently unavailable" and added that "we don't know when or if this item will be back in stock." In reality the book was available all the time at another page but for some reason this did not come in response to customer searches (or came up only if a particularly persistent customer searched for it under its full title). Below are links that -- at least as of November 26 2008 -- work for each of my four East Asia-related books. E.F.
